I just wrote an interview article about Rev Tryphena.  Note that I mentioned 20% of Gen Z in America identify themselves as LGBTQ and this number is expected to increase. We are already seeing the influence of the LGBT movement here in Malaysia, albeit very subtly.

And the chairperson will be Tan Ah Eng.

Rev. Tryphena is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God (AG) Malaysia. She is also the Executive Director of PLUC Events Sdn Bhd, an organisation that provides pastoral care and counselling for those dealing with gender issues. As one who has herself struggled with and later overcome same-sex attraction, she has acquired deep insights which have uniquely equipped her to journey with those agonising over their gender identity.

IS IT A COINCIDENCE THAT THE PRIDE COLLECTION OF SWATCH WATCHES MATCH THE COLOURS OF THE LGBTQ FLAG?

Swatch Group CEO Nick Hayek dared the Malaysian Government to confiscate the rainbow. Wow! But, rainbow has SEVEN colours, LGBT/ Pride flags have only SIX colours. 

Coincidental or clearly and blatantly pro-LGBT? Compare the colours of the flag to the Swatch series of watches.

Click banner to read the news. It is already coming to Malaysia. But we have the Ministry of Home Affairs to thank as they had initiated this work of breaking the influence of the LGBT movement on our children and teenagers. 

So, it's not about confiscating rainbow. No, the raid on Swatch nationwide is against the LGBT movement. Can we afford to be another permissive society like in the US where LGBT has, according the Gallup poll, taken 20% of the GenZ population who can now proudly identify themselves with LGBT?

Pastor Edmund Smith here claims he is LGBT-friendly, meaning, he does not condone the LGBT way of life, but loves the person the way God loves him or her. A former seminary lecturer, Dr Philip Koh, upon reading this blog post , wrote me a short message on whatsapp:  Stephen, your essay insisting on a right understanding of the literary genre of Revelation is lucid in expression, succinct in form, and systematic in presentation. A look at how literary genre affects the interpretation of Book of Revelations  By Stephen Ng Introduction   In the world of literature, genre simply means the ‘kind of writing’ (Keener 1993, 825) used in the literature. Gorman defines it as “a set of texts with common, distinctive feature” (Gorman 2001, 76) . It determines how a passage is to be interpreted   (Marshall, Travis and Paul 2002, 324) . Therefore, based on the conventions that an author uses, the genre can be broadly described as letter, narrative, historical, biography or poem. It is important that the genre is correctly identified as it would define how a particular passage or text is to be interpreted. Revelation is a book of hope. In the same manner that the Old Testament prophets spoke of a coming Messiah; in Revelation, we are looking forward to be with Christ in his full glory.
